Here's everything you need for this mouthwatering guacamole. This super-easy and amazingly tasty recipe makes four servings.
Let's Get Started…
Ingredients To Gather:
- 1 Serrano pepper, seeded and finely diced
- 1/2 red onion
- 1 tablespoon of Cilantro
- 1 lime
- 2 large Hass avocados
- Kosher Salt
- 2 vine-ripened tomatoes chopped (Petty Cash uses Wong Farms tomatoes)
- 1/2 white onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons of Cilantro
- 1 lime
- 1 Serrano pepper, seeded and finely diced
Directions To Follow:
To make the guacamole, start by slicing the avocados in half lengthwise. To do this, cut down to and around the pit of the avocado. After you've cut down to the pit, twist the avocado and pull the halves apart and then use a spoon to scoop out the avocado and put it in a bowl. Mash the avocado just until it's still a little chunky and then add the lime juice, serrano peppers, onions, cilantro and salt to taste. Next, make the Pico de Gallo. To do this, combine the tomatoes, onion, peppers, cilantro, lime juice in a bowl, toss gently and then add salt to taste. Now you're ready to assemble everything. Just mix the guacamole, garnish with the Pico de Gallo and you're done!
Finished!
That sounds amazing, doesn't it? It's even better if you add some toasted pepitas for a nice crunch contrast. Have you tried guacamole made like this before? What did you think of it?
