Put bacon in a pan, add 1/2 cup water. On low heat Water will boil away, continue cooking, bacon will crisp up and not be so greasy.

I used a frying pan to cook bacon or a griddle but the easiest and least messy way is line a baking sheet with aluminum foil place the bacon strip by strip and put in the oven for 20 minutes at 400 degrees it doesn’t curl and it comes out crispy. After the foil cools all the grease will cool and just wrap it up and throw it out. No muss no fuss.

My husband does the oven, but I like it in the microwave, on a plate with paper towel, so the grease won’t splatter.

We spray a cookie sheet, as large as you wish to use. Preheat oven to 400 and cook for 12 to 15 minutes. I turn my bacon over after about6 to 8 minutes and put on paper towel to drain off excess grease. You can put in a slow cook on warm, even pile on top of each other….. Just experiment and you will find it wonderful. My husband learned this in a Restaurant… It is great eating!!!

Kay, do you have a warm setting on your crockpot. It should be okay. I have never put it in a crockpot to keep it warm so I cannot tell you how to do it but you may want to try putting an electric skillet on warm. That may work as well. Happy Cooking KAY

I still prefer cooking mine the old fashion way. Have tried the oven method but it’s not as good to me. Just my opinion&experience. It’s really good to get the thick bacon with the rind&deep fry it.
