The Black Pen that was found inside a can of Black Beans was bad enough but then there were reports of metal shards and plastic in other cans as well.
The packaging plant hasn't mentioned if this was an intentional act or not but after all of the complains it seems like it was negligence.
The metal shards were small but if consumed they could be harmful and the Black Pen ink is deadly.
If you have a can or a bag of Black beans anyplace in your house then you should get rid of them ASAP.

GRASS HOPPERS AND LEGS ….ROCKS AND STICKS….IN MY PINTO BEANS….PICK THAT STUFF OUT ..WASH THEM OFF IN SALT WATER…RINSE THEM AND COOK THEM…WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?….AND THEY ARE DELICIOUS.

I’ve never had an issue with blackens and I always have some on hand for my Spanish dishes and other meals calling for them
This is why I don’t buy any canned beans at all. I buy dry and cook my own!
