totally misleading recipe image… restaurant quality image, campbells’s soup recipe…not something a reputable recipe site would post.

Go organic and gluten free. I’m going to give it a go.
The steak doesn’t look like 1 inch pieces ,it looks more like a filet minion size.
I agree about picture but if you cook read between the lines. Do your own thinking I would get a steak slice it and use your amaginazion good base info.
I am a caterer use conseme and soups all the time. Add some Sherry.
I was just insulted at the totally misleading picture. I’d never put raw meat in a crockpot. I’m pretty adept in the kitchen, but to make the dish shown in the picture, you’d have to throw the whole recipe out and, and as you say, use your imagination. I often change recipes as I make them, take notes afterward if it’s a keeper. I don’t know why the writer of this post included the picture.
I do NOT like gravy !!!
Been doing this for years. It is really good!
Looks delicious yummy
It calls for vsirloin steak twits
Jenny Roberson – and certainly NOT this recipe, as written. Look at the picture ONLY and go from there.

Looks yummy yummy
Picture does not match recipe. I’ve seen this more than once on this site. You need to find someone who actually knows how to cook to handle your site.
I am drooling!
It also instructs to brown meat on all sides NOT put it in crockpot raw also calls for dry onion soup so there would be bits of onion……
Yum

I’m in if you never use the phrase “pop a cherry” ever again
Megan Delande ok deal
I simply don’t trust a site that requires you download to view a recipe.
Really? Fools!
The picture and recipe do not match. Picture looks better than recipe sounds.
That meat isn’t “steak riot”!!
Crock pot recipe does not match picture of obviously grilled, rare steak .. very misleading!!
If the recipe matched the picture, might give it a try but no way did the pictures plate come out of a crockpot, it came out of a restaurant. Post is a crock
Did anyone add up the sodium content…can of broth, dry onion soup, canned soup, bouillon…..good grief!!
I don’t think this recipe is the recipe for the picture.
