These Skewers serve about four people but if you are making more for a party or just want left overs you can always double the ingredients. You can use any kind of peppers that you like and you can try these with spicy Italian sausage if want an extra kick!

Let's Get Started!

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 4 Italian sausage links, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 orange bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 large red onion, cut into chunks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

The Step by Step Directions To Follow:

1. Soak eight 8-inch wood skewers in water for 20 minutes. Preheat the grill to medium high heat.

2. Thread sausage, peppers, and onion onto the skewers, alternating sausage, peppers, and onion.

3. Brush skewers with olive oil and season with salt and pepper, to taste.

4. Grill skewers, turning occasionally, until sausage is cooked through and peppers are blistered, about 13 to 15 minutes. Transfer skewers to a plate or platter and serve.
