
Get out all your cooking supplies and utensils; your kitchen is about to smell delicious! You will need the following:
Ingredients To Muster Up:
- 12 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- Kosher or sea salt to taste
- ¾ teaspoon pepper, divided
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1 lemon, sliced (optional)
- 1 cup chicken broth (fat free, low sodium)
- 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ¼ cup flour, optional corn starch
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ¾ cup pitted green olives
Directions To Follow:
First your going to want to sprinkle the chicken thighs with salt and half a teaspoon of pepper.
Next, heat up one tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and then add half of your chicken thighs. Cook the chicken for a few minutes on each side until nicely browned then transfer to a slow cooker. Repeat this procedure for the second half of your chicken thighs.
Using a whisk, blend the broth, cumin, juice and flower and then pour the mixture over the chicken. Top it all off with olives and the remaining 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, then cover and cook on low heat for six hours. Finally garnish with lemon slices to serve and enjoy!
