Make This 3-Ingredient Double Chocolate Mousse For Dessert Tonight Instead – It’s Low Carb & Vegan!

This is a recipe you will want to hang up everywhere. But the truth is, it's so easy to that you won't need to go to that extent.

Ingredients To Gather: 

  • 2x 400ml (13.7oz) cans full fat coconut cream or coconut milk

  • 2 tablespoons confectioners sweetener (or confectioners icing sugar if not counting carbs)

  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

  • pinch of salt (optional! About ¼ teaspoon. Adjust to your tastes)

  • 20g | 2 squares 70% chocolate, shaved (optional for extra richness — or sugar free chocolate chips)

  • extra shaved chocolate to garnish

The Directions To Follow:

  1. Leave the cans of coconut in the fridge over night. Be careful not to shake, while scooping out the cream from the can and putting it into a bowl. You want to leave the water behind.

  2. Add the sweetener and beat on high (You could also put this in a blender.) until thick and creamy for about 2 minutes, saving 4 tablespoons of the plain whip cream for topping.

  3. Fold cocoa powder and salt within the cream, while beating until smooth. Fold in shaved chocolate.

  4. If necessary, refrigerate until set.
