Make This Fried Ravioli Appetizer & Keep The Party Going!

You can either use meat or cheese. I have a vegetarian in the house so I used cheese. Don't be afraid to venture out and try spinach and other combinations.

Let's Get Started…

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • Vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 24 refrigerated cheese ravioli
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 cups jarred marinara sauce

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Pour enough vegetable oil into a large, deep pot so that it reaches a depth of 1 inch. Warm oil over medium heat until a deep-fry thermometer registers 325°F.
  2. While vegetable oil is heating, whisk together egg and milk in a shallow bowl. Place bread crumbs in a separate shallow bowl. Working in batches, dip ravioli into egg mixture, then coat with bread crumbs.
  3. Fry ravioli in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown, about 3 minutes total.
  4. Sprinkle fried ravioli with grated Parmesan.
