This recipe isn’t right…3 ingredients listed are flour. Butter and egg yolks. …forst it says to make the dough with flour and butter and bake the beaten egg yolks in the crust….oh, yah, then it says the filling needs sugar an lemon juice (ya think???). You bake in an 8×8 pan…but get 16 servings. Martha, stop putting out recipes that I need to go to Betty Crocker to get true recipe!

This sounds gross! Stir up egg yolks and pour them in a crust made of flour and butter? That’s not lemon bars, it’s egg pie! Then, after you’ve made the “3 ingredient lemon bars”, you can add lemon and sugar if you want to? Really??

Looks to me like it was the recipe station that advertised only 3 ingredients, not Martha Stewart. Not saying that I like, or don’t like her. I wishi I had more time to gripe about something as petty as this!

Krusteau makes a wonderful lemon bar mix. Just substitute heavy cream for the water! Also can make them Lemon cream cheese bars from a recipe on the box.
