So what's so bad about Mac & Cheese? More than you might think: One you find this out you are going to be heart broken!

1. CHEESE + PASTA ISN'T THE PROBLEM.
Pasta and cheese are great in and of themselves, but when you put them together and then load this up with butter and cream you dilute the flavor of both and end up with, well, kind of a mess.
2. IT'S ALL ONE BORING FLAVOR.
Mac and cheese sounds great in theory, but you end up with watered down cheese and a dish with very little variety or texture. Booooooring!
3. IT WILL MAKE YOU OVERDOSE ON CHEESE.
Trust us, there's truth to the saying that it's possible to have too much of a good thing. A whole plate of cheese is just excessive.
4. THE MACARONI GETS MUSHY.
Even if you cook the pasta al dente, once you pour that creamy melted cheese sauce over it and then mix it all up, it's bound to get mushy and mealy.
5. IT'S A SLAP IN THE FACE TO GOOD CHEESE.
No matter what kind of cheese you use, it just won't have the same quality as if you put it on or in a better dish. In fact, don't even waste the good stuff on mac and cheese, because it just won't taste the way it's supposed to.
6. THE BOXED STUFF IS SO INCREDIBLY PROCESSED.
If you must have mac and cheese, at least make it from scratch, because that packaged stuff we all grew up on is loaded with preservatives, artificial flavors and all kinds of things you really don't want to put in your body.
7. EVEN THE HOMEMADE VERSIONS SUCK.
That being said, homemade mac and cheese is just a slight improvement over the boxed kind.
8. EVEN BACON CAN'T SAVE IT.
Bacon makes everything better, doesn't it? Well, not mac and cheese, so don't waste your savory bacon on a dish that can't be salvaged.
9. IT LITERALLY PALES IN COMPARISON TO PIZZA.
Nothing stands a chance against pizza. That's just how it is.
