Our Kids Just Can’t Get Enough Of This Tater Tot & Sloppy Joe Casserole – Check Out How We Made It Work!

Delicious, Easy To Make And A Perennial Crowd-Pleaser, This Casserole Will Be Your New Favorite Dish To Make! Your Kids Will Be Begging For Seconds The First Bite!

Let's Get Started…

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1 lb. ground beef

  • ½ sweet onion, diced

  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced

  • 1 red bell pepper, diced

  • 1 can (15 oz.) corn, drained

  • 1 can (24 oz.) Sloppy Joe sauce

  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded and divided

  • 32 oz. frozen tater tots

Directions To Follow:

  1. In large skillet, cook beef until browned over medium high heat. Drain fat. Remove and set aside.
  2. In same skillet, saute onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add red pepper and corn. Cook until soft.
  4. Add beef, Sloppy Joe sauce, cream cheese, paprika and salt and pepper to taste. Stir until well mixed.
  5. Simmer for 5 minutes over medium low heat.
  6. Place mixture in a 9×13 baking dish.
  7. Add 1 cup of cheese in a layer.
  8. Top with tater tots. Add remaining cheese.
  9. Bake at 450 degrees F for 20 minutes or until the tater tots are crispy and golden.
  10. Serve hot.

This dish is perfect for a cold evening or for those times where cooking isn't really planned out. This is fast, enjoyable and has everyones favorites.
