This incredible lasagna makes enough for eight servings but if you need more for a party, you can just double the ingredients. If you don't like whole wheat noodles you can always use the regular ones if you want.
Let's Get Started…
The Ingredients To Gather:
- 12 whole wheat lasagna noodles
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- salt and black pepper
- 1 package cottage cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 jars tomato-basil pasta sauce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
The Step By Step Directions To Follow:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Fill pot with lightly salted water, bring to boil over high heat.
- Add noodles a few at a time, return to boil.
- Cook pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.
- Remove noodles to plate.
- Place ground beef over medium heat, add garlic, garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper.
- Cook meat, 10 minutes. Drain.
- Mix cottage cheese, eggs,Parmesan cheese until combined.
The Additional Step By Step Directions To Follow:
- Put four of noodles side by side in the pan.
- Add some sauce, some beef, and the cheese mixture.
- Add two more lawyers and top with sauce.
- Add mozzarella cheese.
- Place covered dish in oven and bake for thirty minutes.
- Uncover the dish and bake for an additional ten minutes.
- Let it cool and stand for ten minutes.
