The Thick Sauce & Mushrooms Really Go Well Together On This Seasoned Dish.
This is a surprisingly easy do-it-yourself kind of recipe. You'll have made a homemade type of dinner that can be made in roughly around 30 minutes. It will definitely taste like a meal your grandma would make. So, if you're nostalgic for a homemade, family kind of meal…this is definitely the one for you.
This recipe makes a mushroom sauce that is subtle but tasty. It goes great on the beef and makes it tender and delicious. The sauce and the beef go together like peanut butter and jelly. Well, not exactly but there's no way you can have a salisbury steak without a sauce and this one is a great fit.

1 pound ground beef
1 egg
3 tablespoons crushed buttery round cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
2 (4 ounce) cans sliced mushrooms with juice
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 cups milk
3 cubes beef bouillon
Step By Step Directions To Follow:
1. In a medium bowl, mix together the ground beef, egg, cracker crumbs, onion, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning using your hands. Shape into 6 patties about 1 inch thick.
2. Fry the patties in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Drain grease and put patties on a plate.
3. Melt the butter in the same skillet, and add the mushrooms. Cook and stir for about 2 minutes. Stir in the flour, milk, and beef bouillon. Cook and stir over medium heat until smooth and starting to thicken. Then add in the patties and cook on low for 10 minutes.

It’s ridiculous to have to go three pages in for the complete recipe. I don’t know why people keep returning to these sites.

Scheduled to share to Welcome to My Kitchen 😀
I’m done with this site for that reason
There are a couple sites like this. They take the photo and the ingredients from a bona fide website, post them on their site, then three pages later direct them to the site where the recipe is. It’s not right.
