This Buttercream Recipe Is So Good It's Hard To Resist Licking The Bowl
In every delicious cake, the frosting is the true hero, whether it’s a fancy three-layered wedding cake or petite red velvet cupcake. No matter how moist and sweet the batter may be, without the proper flavor of your frosting, the cake will not survive against other sweet competitors.
Here is a way to knock them all out with this special frosting recipe! Light, fluffy and of course sweet, this is totally different from any frostings you have ever dealt with!
Whipped Vanilla Buttercream is absolutely delicious!
It is compacted in a perfectly well balanced sweetness so that it’s just the RIGHT amount: not bland or sweetness overload with foreshadowing cavities.
Absolutely easy to make with a help of a mixer. And what’s more beneficial is if you make more than enough, you get to store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks!

Have never used almond

Great
Yum
I want a gd stable whipped frosting like the grocery stores, I hate buttercream ughh
I actually tried it. The almond gave it a different flavor. Also I used 3 cups of powder sugar. It was kind of sweet. So I added some fresh lemon juice. And that really have it a good taste!

I use a recipe similar to this from Wilton.
Shirley Reardon Exactly. too heavy on the almond.
Try Rich’s Bettercreame sold at GFS. Comes in a quart container and you just whip it for 6-8 minutes.Cake on the right is frosted with Rich’s Bettercreame.
Thank you, so you just whip it then no adding of anything?
It’s vanilla flavored, but I always add a little more clear vanilla or you can color it with food color. That’s it.
Thanks !!!
Follow directions on container so as not to over whip. It will be real creamy.
I have been making this gor year. My mother made hers this way too. This was also a receipt on the inside of Land O Lakes Butter package.
I hope this is good.

8oz = 1c
32oz = 4c
If you buy a two pound bag of sugar (32 oz) then measure it in a dry measuring cup, you will get about 8 cups. Weight and dry measure are two different things
I always make frosting this way. Really important to sift P. Sugar. Add lemon or orange zest for a taste treat.
I never buy canned frosting: never enough to cover a layer cake and inferior to homemade.
You can find recipes that use either gelatins or stabilized with cream cheese
Or white flour frosting
The store bought one is probably loaded with hydrogenated fat,…… arteries clogger
Looks sooooo good

If it’s to sweet add a little lemon juice or pinch of salt it works.
