Skip The Noodles : This Pasta Dish Is So Good, You Don’t Even Need ‘Em!

For most families, when you think about spaghetti, you think about the thin long pasta with tomato or meat sauce, maybe some meatballs and Parmesan cheese – it’s always good. While we like it, let's face the facts… it is kind of a kid’s thing.

We cannot tell you how often we asked the question: “What do you want for supper?” and hear the kid- cry of: “Spaghetti!”

Now, if you want to update your typical spaghetti recipe, maybe make it a bit more adventurous and adult, start by using tuna, tomatoes and olives!

It is not only tasty but easy to make! Check out the yummy ingredients below.

YIELD: Serves 6

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 6 ounces olive oil-packed Italian or Spanish tuna, drained
  • 1/2 cup black olives
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 pound thin spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  2. Combine tomatoes, tuna, olives, parsley, pepper, 3 Tbsp. oil, and 1 tsp. salt in a large bowl.
