Skip The Tortilla’s: Once You Make This Biscuit Taco Casserole You’ll Never Make Tacos The Same Way Again!

This taco casserole makes enough for six to eight servings but if you want plenty left overs to enjoy again for another easy meal, you can double the ingredients. It takes ten minutes to prepare and about forty-minutes to bake so you can enjoy this amazing dish in no time at all!

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 16 ounces taco sauce
  • 12 ounces refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 -1 1⁄2 cup  cheddar cheese
  • 1 -1 1⁄2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1  can sliced  olives
  • 1⁄2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1⁄4 cup  red bell pepper (optional)
  • 1⁄4 cup  green pepper, (optional)
  • 4 ounces mushroom stems and pieces (optional)

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Spread taco sauce over bottom of  dish.
  3. Separate dough into 10 biscuits; cut each biscuit into 4 pieces.
  4. Place biscuit pieces in sauce,  coat.
  5. Sprinkle biscuits with  each cheese, olives.
  6. Mix.
  7. Bake 15 – 18 minutes
  8. Combine ground beef, peppers, mushrooms.
  9. Cook until beef is thoroughly cooked.
  10. Drain.

The Additional Directions To Follow:

  1. When the casserole is baked, add each cheese to the top.
  2. Pour beef over the whole casserole.
  3. Allow to bake for about seven more minutes or until done.
