Snack Attack: Sausage & Cream Cheese Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers

This recipe calls for Liquid Smoke and if you've never heard of that before as a cooking ingredient…don't fret. It's actually labeled in the grocery store as Liquid Smoke and it's just a liquid added to foods to give it a smokey taste. Or you can just make these on the grill for a natural smokey flavor. It's up to you!

Ingredients To Gather

  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese

  • 6 drops Liquid Smoke

  • 5 Cooked Turkey Sausage Breakfast Links

  • 6 whole Large Jalapeños

  • Smoked Paprika, For Sprinkling

Step By Step Directions To Follow

  1. Preheat oven to 375ºF.

  2. Combine the cream cheese with liquid smoke until fully combined and creamy.  Add the cooked and crumbled turkey sausage to the cream cheese and blend together.

  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture into the halved jalapeños, then sprinkle with smoked paprika.

  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until done.

Finished!

Tasty, little sausage jalapeño poppers. Once you have one you won't want to stop. This recipe only makes six, however, you can modify to make more.
