
Here's everything for this hearty slow cooked honey pork roast. This recipe requires 10 minutes of prep time and 6 hours of cooking time, and makes eight servings.

Ingredients To Gather:
- 1 (2-3 pound) boneless pork roast
- 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp dried basil
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
Directions To Follow:
Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place roast in slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the cheese, honey, soy sauce, basil, garlic, oil and salt; pour over pork. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 160°.
Remove meat to a serving platter; keep warm.
Next, skim the fat off of the cooking juices, and then pour into a small saucepan and bring the liquid to a boil. Next, combine the cornstarch and the water until smooth, and then slowly stir into the pan. Cook, while stirring, until thickened, which should take about 2 minutes. Finally, slice the roast and then serve with the gravy.

We really like this pork roast with some hearty, rich and creamy mashed potatoes. In fact, we sometimes use some of the gravy for the roast for the mashed potatoes, and it really takes them up a notch.
