Sweet, Old Fashioned, Classic & Easy To Bake: This Peach Cobbler Is Our All-Time Favorite!

You Can Use Fresh Or Frozen Peaches For This Cobbler. We Prefer That You Use Fresh Though… Make Sure That They Are Ripe & Not Hard.

Let's Get Baking…

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 6 cups sliced peeled
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup butter

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°
  2. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, lemon juice, peel and cinnamon; sprinkle over the peaches.
  3. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and nutmeg. Stir in egg until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Sprinkle over the peaches. Pour butter evenly over topping.
  5. Bake 35-40 minutes.

Finished!

You can Always Use Apples Instead If You Prefer. Make Sure To Cut The Fruit Up Really Small & Make Sure If They Are Frozen They Are De-Thawed Before You Put Them In The Baking Pan.

Happy Cooking & Enjoy!

This is really good. I have also made it substituting our STF pancake mix for the bisquick, liked it with both our Hearty Grain and Pumpkin. Just a neat change up, that’s all. It is great the way done here in the picture.
