Now I know you're thinking shish-kabobs are more of a summer time dish, but sometimes nothing warms you up more than having a traditional barbecue meal in the dead of the coldest months of the year.
Your tastebuds will thank you for braving the cold while cooking these up on the grill (or you could cheat and use your George Foreman…I won't tell!). The alternating taste of sweet pineapple and salty meat will have you dying for more at the end of every skewer. With 8 skewers to work with, though, having a second helping shouldn't be a problem!

This recipe looks good, I might just add it to my collection ( Currently on the Paleo diet though). I have to say, I used to be afraid of Paleo but once you get good recipes (I use cookbook: http://www.illatte.com/paleohacks-cookbook/ ) it becomes easy to lose weight in a delicious manner. Even my friends and family barely recognize that my meals are paleo (while they are scarfing them down).

I’ve been doing this for years. Pineapple juice is the best meat tenderizer, then I put the pineapple in the shish kabobs.
