Take A Trip Around The World With This Delishious Moroccan Roasted Chicken!

Here's everything you need for this aromatic, appetizing and exotic dish. Trust me… It's hard to find this completed recipe at your local diner. Even if you do… it probally doesn't taste right.

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin

  • 2 teaspoons ground turmeric

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped

  • 1 (3 1/2-pound) chicken, cut into 8 pieces

  • 2 medium red onions, quartered

  • 1 pound small red-skin potatoes, scrubbed and halved

  • 1 cup dried apricots

  • 1/2 cup golden raisins

  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pistachios

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

Cooking Instructions:

Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. You'll also need an aluminum baking sheet. Cover it with foil and coat with cooking spray. Combine the honey, olive oil, cumin, turmeric, cinnamon, and garlic. Then, combine the chicken, onions, and potatoes and toss with 3/4 of the mixture you just prepared. Combine the rest of the mixture with the apricots and raisins. Then you're ready for the final step:

Bake the chicken, onions, and potatoes for 35 minutes. Add the apricots and raisins and bake until the chicken is cooked through, 15 to 20 minutes more. Garnish with the pistachios and cilantro.

We like this recipe because it's easy to make and requires only 10 minutes of prep time and an hour of total preparation and cooking time. Plus, it makes four servings so there's enough for the whole family. Even if your family is hesitant to try new dishes, this tantalizing recipe will awaken their sense of culinary adventure and give them an appreciation for international cuisine!
