Whenever my family and friendly find out that I'm making tamales for dinner, they are a huge hit. In fact, if enough people know ahead of time, I end up turning it into a tamale making party. I simply prepare the dough and the shredded pork filling, and then invite every one over to make an assembly line. We have tons of fun, drinking and laughing, while making tamales.

You can even make cute little bags for people to take their uncooked tamales home in, and have a separate batch prepared and cooked ahead of time for your guests to enjoy with you.

This makes a great group date night idea, or just something fun to do with the whole family on the weekend. Either way, these tamales are sure to be a success with the shredded pork and green chile filling. It tastes soooooo amazing!
