Thankfully, Fall Isn’t The Only Time You Can Indulge In This Apple Butter Pork Tenderloin

Apple butter has an approximately 2-year shelf life but after opening make sure to store it tightly sealed in the refrigerator. For commercial varieties, refer to the “Use By” date on the jar.

Ingredients Needed:

  • ½ cup Red Jacket apple butter

    2½ Tbs brown sugar

    3 Tbs apple cider vinegar

    2 Tbs molasses

    ½ tsp garlic granules

¼-1/2 tsp harissa (adjust according to heat preference)

    3-4 lb Pork tenderloin

Instructions To Follow:

  1. Mix together BBQ sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.

  2. Heat grill to 350 degrees.

  3. Flip, and grill until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F (approximately 5 more minutes, depending on thickness of tenderloin)

  4. Brush BBQ sauce over the pork, and cook for a few more minutes until temperature reaches 150 degrees F.

Since this recipe is so simple to make you may want to accompany it with some warm and satisfying scalloped potatoes and fresh green beans.
