The Best Homemade Brownies You’ll Ever Make… They Come Out Super Moist & Full Of Chocolate

Why bake something from a box that has been processed, sifted and stored for how many months. You are going to love that little added kick we put inside and how moist they come out.

Let's Get Started…

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsifted all-purpose flour, unbleached, unbromated – or – gluten free flour blend such as Cup4Cup or
  • Pamela's
  • 1/3 cup cocoa, preferably organic, Fair Trade certified
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional

Directions To Follow:

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together: butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. In a separate bowl, mix together dry ingredients. Then mix both mixtures together.
  2. Spread batter evenly in a greased 8-inch square baking pan, or an 8-inch round or heart shaped pan.
  3. Bake metal pans 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees F, glass pans 30-35 minutes at 335 degrees, until edges are set. The key is to not over bake! Only the edges should be set up when you take the pan out of the oven. Center will be soft but will firm up at the brownies cool. If they're coming out on the dry side, bake them for less time or drop the temp, or both.

After tasting these soft, chocolate brownies you'll never want to settle for a box brownie mix again. After all, when making brownies from scratch you have more freedom to add your own ingredients and have control on the amounts. So, put a little love in it! Maybe a lot 🙂
