This special steak house rub goes perfect with either steak or chicken – the type of spices used are not going to over power the meat.
To Get Started You Are Going To Need…
-
1 tablespoon cumin
-
1 tablespoon paprika
-
1 tablespoon granulated garlic
-
1 tablespoon granulated onion
-
1 tablespoon chili powder
-
1 tablespoon brown sugar
-
2 tablespoons kosher salt
-
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
-
1 teaspoon black pepper
-
1 teaspoon white pepper
Directions
-
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
Helpful Hints
- What I like to do is just throw my meat in a bag and shake it up. Make sure that you let your meat rest for at least five to ten minutes before you throw it on the BBQ. This trick lets the meat tenderize and soak up all of the flavors.
- You don't need to worry about flipping the meat every few minutes or so. All of the flavors will still stay on when it is cooking and not burn off.

In the south we don’t grill our steaks on a bbq, we use a grill . Bbq is something you have, not cook on.
