Amongst everyone I've spoke to about kale prepping is always the number one issue. That issue can now be solved by trying this easy step.
Check This Helpful Little Tip Out…
Instead of wasting time trying to cut around the tough stalk, there's a seriously easy way to de-stem.
Grip the bottom of the stem with one hand and use the other hand to rip the leaves away from you.
In one, sweeping motion, you can remove the fibrous stem from the leaves faster than any other method.
Once you've removed all the stems, don't throw them away. Sturdy kale stems can make great pickles, and chopped up, they can add a satisfying crunch to stir-fries.
Finished!
Now that you know how to properly and efficiently prep Kale, let all your friends know and save them the burden of peeling the delicious leaves off of the stalk. You can also save the stalks and blanch them to give your stir fry a little crunch.
Happy Baking & Enjoy!
