I have to admit when a post boasts that they know the fastest way to do anything I always open it with hesitation. In the South, corn is a staple of any southern dinner and saying you know the quickest way to shuck corn is going to spark a debate of epic proportions in my house!
Grandma swears her way (the old school way) is the best way. My mother says she has improved on my grandmother's way and can do it faster (but according to my grandmother – not better) and then there is my husband who swears that we should just plop the things on the grill with some seasonings and forget shucking corn altogether.
Frankly, I have tried his corn, and I'm fine with that method as it's delicious.
So when this video was sent to me saying it has found the fastest way to shuck corn I hesitated then watched and by golly- they may have found the best way yet but you decide.
