McDonald's has taken a huge step into the future and now the things that have only happened before in movies will actually become a reality. You can finally say that you have been served by a robot!
That's right, we said a robot! It is a truly out of this world experience that you will have to see to believe. McDonald's had a choice; they could have either paid workers more or they could just invest in technology. We can't say we blame them either.
We kind of hope, after they replace all of their complaining, greedy employees that they can work on their food quality next!

people don’t want to waited on by robots this will help you in the short run but will hurt you big time in the long run.
Actually, once they get used to it they will love the robots … no more having your order messed up or worry about unclean hands or disgruntled workers messing with your food. I’m sure it will be a hit.

Right, I’ve seen videos of employees dropping a burger on the floor and then putting it right back on the bun. They’ve also spit (not s**t) on food to be really rude (sickening, I know).
I have no problem with being waited on by robots. I don’t have to put up with sour faced people who want the money but don’t want to work. I don’t have to repeat myself 3 times because the person doesn’t understand English. I don’t have to take my order back because I said no pickles and they are on there anyway. Put my order in, pay, get what I ordered. Not a problem at all.
Would they know to not allow roach’s in the food? We don’t eat there and that is our choice. Just wondering about food safety and quality control issues.
Seriously? People choose to be dirty, filthy and no clean up. Most of the time those people are so oblivious they don’t know there are bugs.

What did you expect? There will be much more of this at low end jobs over the next decade. Contrary to your liberal beliefs, a company cannot exist if it does not produce some profit for taking the risks of running a business. I recently closed my own concession business as it was not profitable enough after paying numerous government taxes and fees to justify the time I spend running it. I had to get rid of two employees who were good workers. Enjoy the new world of socialistic tendencies.

Actual most McDonald’s locations are franchises owned by small business people.
Everyone just needs to start boycotting any company that starts doing away with jobs.
Even if this was true, I wouldn’t go there. Automated service doesn’t exist. And everyone needs a job sometime in their life. The day that job is replaced by a machine is the day I never go there. I support humans that want to support themselves and their family, not corporations and robots for their profits.
The only problem I have with places like McDonald’s that are complaining about paying employees $15 per hour is that if the CEOs were to trade their paycheck with someone that made $10/hour and are the ones that are actually making them rich, I wonder if they could feed their families after paying their bills?
