
Don't starve yourself in the morning over the hassle of cooking. Once you have the recipe for this you are instantly going to fall in love with the idea of having something freshly baked and ready to eagerly gobble-up!
Ingredients
- Original recipe makes 1 – 9×13 inch panChange Servings
- 1/2 (1 pound) loaf white bread, cut into cubes
- 1 1/2 pounds Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cubed cooked ham
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce, or to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Place half of the bread cubes on bottom of baking pan. Sprinkle with half of the ham and then half of the cheese; repeat.
- In a large bowl, beat together eggs, milk, salt, hot sauce and green onions. Pour egg mixture into pan.
- Cook for 30-45 minutes.
As I said you can really change this recipe and make it your own. I mean, I prefer bacon, bell peppers and mushrooms in mine. That’s what’s really great about this, you can make the baked omelette to fit your craving perfectly. A tiny little tip though, you would want to place this on the higher rack of your oven so it doesn’t brown so much. Now, go make it and enjoy!
