The Ingredients To Gather:
- 4 chicken pieces
- sea salt & black pepper
- 6 garlic cloves
- 2 lemons
- ⅓ cup plus 2 tablespoons honey
- ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil, plus more for browning
- ¾ cup water
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ⅓ cup parsley,
- ½ cup white wine
- Toasted Couscous
- Lemons Slices, for garnish
- Scallions, for garnish
- Maldon sea salt
The Step By Step Directions To Follow:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Season chicken pieces with fine sea salt, ground pepper.
- Combine garlic, the zest, juice from lemons, honey, extra virgin olive oil, water, smoked paprika, parsley.
- Whisk, set aside.
- Heat 2-3 tablespoons olive oil in skillet to medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces, allowing to brown on all sides, turning frequently , 2 minutes on each side.
- Add white wine. Whisk in reserved lemon garlic, honey sauce, spooning over chicken.
- Place skillet in oven for 15 minutes.
- Remove, turning chicken, drizzling with remaining 2 tablespoons honey.
- Serve over Toasted Couscous, angel hair pasta or rice.
