The Ultimate French Fry: Bacon Wrapped Sweet Potato Fries

The Ultimate French Fry: Bacon Wrapped Sweet Potato Fries

Find out how to make bacon wrapped sweet potato fries with this simple recipe. Take our tip and use your fries to make the ultimate loaded french fries combination. Think nachos, but with french fries.

All You Will Need Is:

4 medium sweet potatoes, cut into matchsticks about the width of your pinky finger

8 oz bacon (do not use thin cut)

How To Prepare:

Preheat oven to 425F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Slice each piece of bacon in half, lengthwise and then in thirds, widthwise, so there will be 6 strips cut from 1 piece of bacon. Wrap a strip of bacon around a matchstick sweet potato. Place on baking sheet.

Bake for 25 minutes until the sweet potatoes feel soft. Turn the oven to broil and let the tops get crispy, 2 minutes or so but careful to watch as they will burn easily.

Tip: Take your recipe to the next level by creating your favorite loaded French fry dishes. Top your bacon wrapped sweet potatoes with onions, shredded Cheddar cheese, and a Sunny Side Up egg for the ultimate loaded French fries combination.
