- One the milk comes to a simmer, reduce heat to low and add the cheeses, mustard and hot sauce.
- Stir constantly to melt the cheese and to make a smooth mixture.
- Finally, add the Ranch Dip Mix stir to combine.
- Keep the triple-cheese dip warm and serve with the Pregame Pretzel Bites.
How To Make The Pretzels From Scratch:
- Preheat your oven to 420 degrees.
- Cut each ones of your pizza doughs into 4 equal pieces. Then roll each piece into a 1/4-inch thick rope. Cut the ropes into 1 1/4-inch pieces. Roll into balls. Repeat with the remainder of the dough.
- You can use whatever design you want. This is what the original recipe said to do ahead though.
- Meanwhile, bring 3 quarts of water to a boil. Add your baking soda. Working in batches, add some of the pretzel bites. Let dough cook for 2-5 minutes, flipping them so that the dough cooks evenly. Set aside.
- Keep doing this till all of your dough is gone.
- Transfer the boiled dough to a parchment paper lined baking sheet, spacing them 2-5 inches apart so it does not cook together.
- Brush your dough balls with the beaten egg. Sprinkle the top of each dough ball with some Ranch Dip Mix. Lightly sprinkle each dough ball with pretzel salt.
- Place in the oven to bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. You can also cook them longer if you like your pretzels harder.
