
Bacon is the dream ingredient and this recipe has just enough bacon in it to bring out all of the more delicate flavors. Of course, you can add more bacon or a few more vegetables if you family has some favorites.

The Ingredients To Gather:
- 4 bone-in pork chops, about 3/4 inch
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 4 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 large yellow onion, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 ½ cups chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
The Step By Step Directions to Follow:
- Rinse and dry pork chops with a paper towel and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Grease slow cooker with cooking spray.
- Cook bacon in a skillet until browned and then transfer to slow cooker.
- Cook pork chops in the bacon dripping for about four minutes on each side. Transfer to slow cooker.
- Cook onions in skillet until softened (about four minutes).
- Add garlic and cook for just about a minute longer. Add them to the slow cooker.
- Add broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cook on low heat for 2 hours.
- When pork chops are finished, remove.
- Beat cornstarch and vinegar with a few tablespoons of water and cook for 25 minutes or until slightly thickened.
