This recipe makes three to four servings but you can always get more drumsticks if you need to feed more people. You can add as much spice as you want to really tailor this recipe to fit your tastes. It is a good idea to make sure you really coat the chicken with the marinade so that you get all the delicious flavors.
Let's Get Started!
Ingredients To Gather:
- 2.5 lbs chicken drumsticks
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sriracha
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp ginger
Step By Step Directions To Follow:
- Combine honey, hoisin, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, garlic, sesame seeds, and ginger.
- Make any adjustments you think you might like (more or less ginger, sriracha, etc). Marinate the chicken in this mixture for at least 3 hours, tossing it every hour to make sure all sides get coated.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Set a wire rack over a baking sheet.
- Place the chicken on the rack, and bake for 20 minutes.
- Cook the chicken 15 minutes more, taking the chicken out and basting with the marinade every 5 minutes.
Finished!
These drumsticks are so sweet and spicy that you will never think of drumsticks the same way again! Have you tried these Asian drumsticks yet? Did you make them mild or really spicy?
