  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt, plus more for seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, plus more for seasoning
  • 8 pork breakfast chops
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Smashed new potatoes, for serving

Directions To Follow:

Start by putting salt and pepper on both sides of the pork chops and then mixing the flour and some cayenne, salt and black pepper. Coat each side of the pork chops in this mixture and set them aside. Next, heat canola oil over medium or medium-high heat and then add the butter. Once the butter melts and it and the oil are hot, add the pork chops and cook three at a time. Cook between 2 and 3 minutes on one side, and then flip and cook the other side until golden brown. This usually takes 1 or 2 minutes, and you'll know they're done when there's no pink juice left in the meat. Repeat this process for all of the chops, and then serve with smashed new potatoes.
