
Here's everything for this mouthwatering slow cooker Salisbury steak. This recipe is great because it only requires a slow cooker and a single skillet.
Ingredients To Gather:
- 2 pounds ground beef (I used 97/3)
- 1 onion, FINELY diced
- 1 packet dried onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Drizzle of canola/vegetable oil
- 2 cans cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 can of water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of Kitchen Bouquet
- Pepper to taste
Directions To Follow:
- Begin by combining the ground beef, onion, onion soup mix, bread crumbs and milk and shaping into patties.
- Next, heat a large skillet on medium-high and add oil, and then add the patties and sear on both sides until brown.
- Spray the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray and then place the patties inside the slow cooker.
- Using the same pan the meat was cooked in, add the soup, water and Kitchen Bouquet, and then reduce the to medium and heat until it bubbles.
- Season with pepper to taste, and then pour the sauce over the patties and cook on low for between 4 and 5 hours.

This savory Salisbury steak goes well with everything from vegetables to mashed potatoes, and we also like pairing it with a nice dinner salad.
