This breakfast casserole makes eight servings, so it's already the perfect size for a family of four … because everyone will want seconds.
Things You Will Need:
-
4 cups frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
-
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
-
8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
-
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
-
1 egg
-
1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
-
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
How To Prepare:
- Layer potatoes, onion, bacon, and cheese in a well greased baking pan.
- Combine egg, milk, and seasoning and pour over your casserole.
- Next, you'll want to cover your dish with foil and place in a preheated oven of 350 degrees fahrenheit. Continue to cook for thirty minutes before removing the cover. Then bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is nice and bubbly. You can also place under the broiler for a crispier top.
Note: Make sure that when you place a knife in the center of the casserole after baking, that it comes out clean. This way, you can make sure everything is cooked and ready to go.
