This Butter Cream Recipe Is So Good It’s Hard To Resist Licking The Bowl

Here's everything you need for this scrumptious frosting. If you're watching your sugar intake, you can use as little as 2 cups.

Let's Get Started…

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Almond Extract
  • 32 ounces confectioners' sugar, sifted*
  • 2 tablespoons 2% or whole milk
  • pinch salt

Directions To Follow:

  1. Beat butter in bowl of stand mixer with whisk attachment on medium-high speed until light and fluffy. (about 3 minutes)
  2. Add vanilla and almond extract.
With mixer on low, slowly add in confectioners' sugar , milk, and salt; frequently scrape sides and bottom of bowl.
  3. Once incorporated, whip frosting for at least 3 minutes on medium high to high. (My mixer went for 7 minutes)
  4. If frosting is too thick to spread, gradually beat in additional milk.

Finished!

Easy, right? So there's no excuse not to try it! Plus, it keeps up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator, so you can prepare it in advance if you know you have a big party or special occasion coming  up. Just whip it again before using and will taste as good as the day you made it.
