You do not necessarily have to make it with the Pasta… You can omit that certain ingredient & just have the cheese, chicken and cheese.
Here Is How It's Done….
The Ingredients To Gather:
- 1 1/2 – 2 c. cooked chicken
- 2 c. pasta, cooked
- 1 3/4 c. Cheddar cheese
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can mild Rotel
- 3/4 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 c. milk
The Step By Step Instructions:
- Combine soup, Rotel, cumin, chili powder and milk.
- Add the cooked chicken, cooked pasta and 1 1/4 cups of cheese.
- Pour into an 8×8 inch casserole dish.
- Top with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
- 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Finished!
When I made this the first time I didn't add the pasta; instead I just stuffed everything in a taco shell with some lettuce and tomatoes. The second time however, I made it as is and served it up at dinner time.
Needless to say… there wasn't any left-overs the next day.
