
This recipe uses classic Heinz ketchup but you can also use Heinz Jalapeno ketchup if you want to add some spice to your meatloaf. It takes about fifteen minutes to prepare and about an hour to bake. It will smell so good you will want to dig right in!
Let's Get Started…
The Ingredients To Gather:
- 1 cup Heinz® Tomato Ketchup
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1/2 cup celery
- 1/4 cup green pepper
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
The Step By Step Directions To Follow:
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook onion, celery pepper,5 minutes.
- Stir in Ketchup.
The Additional Directions To Follow:
Take the pan off of the heat and divide up the sauce evenly. Mix some of the sauce with the last five ingredients. Pour the sauce and ingredients into your pan. Allow it to bake for about sixty minutes or until done. Allow the meatloaf to stand five minutes. Heat the remaining sauce up and pour it over your meatloaf.
