We like snacking as much as the next person and, yes, when you eat between meals some serious calories are involved, especially if you grab a ultra-sweet doughnut or piece of cake.
This recipe makes about one and half cups of a healthy tasty dip. Check it out and be happily staggered!
Yield: Makes about 1 and 1/2 cups
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt, nonfat or regular
- 1/2 cup salted almond butter
- 1 package Free for All Kitchen Gluten Free Brownie Thins
- Apples, Strawberries, Bananas, Pineapple, etc.
Instructions
- Stir Greek yogurt and almond butter together until combined.
- Serve with Brownie Thins and fresh fruit.
- Store in the fridge for up to a week.
Notes
- You can of course use any ratio of yogurt to almond butter that you like. I like about a 2:1 ratio.
- Optional ingredients: honey, sugar, cinnamon, or mini chocolate chips.
There are loads of optional ingredients. Let’s say you want this dip a bit more sweet you CAN certainly add some honey or sugar. Then there is a bit of cinnamon or even some mini dark, milk and white chocolate chips!
Granted, these options are not as “healthy” but not everyone needs gluten or sugar free so we say – go for it!
