As explained on website Delish, using a mason jar ring to cook eggs (or hash browns) in a skillet is incredibly easy. In fact, it's shocking how the simplest tricks often yield the most amazing results!
Take the lid, removing the top so you just have the screw-on ring. Place the ring (or rings) on a sauté pan, and crack an egg, pouring it into the ring. The ring helps contain the egg as it cooks, so it fits perfectly on an English muffin, bagel, or even atop hash brown patties.
Let the eggs cook for a few minutes, until the yolk has reached the level of doneness you'd like, then slide a spatula underneath and transfer it onto a plate, sandwich, or whatever you want.
We really like using a large skillet and then using three or four rings so we can cook multiple eggs or hash brown patties at once. This makes it easy to make a hearty, satisfying breakfast even for a large crowd.
