
Be prepared for your kitchen to be consumed by the mouthwatering aroma of crispy bacon! Even with it this way… I still can not get enough of this stuff.
Ingredients To Gather:
- 1 lb thick sliced bacon
- 2 cups half-and-half cream
- 2 cups flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- ¼ pinch white sugar
- 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
Directions To Follow:
- Get the bacon ready by splitting the bacon in half and forming them in a crisscross pattern. In a dish, put half-and-half and then place the prepared bacon strip for 30 minutes.
- Combine flour, sugar, salt and pepper together. Take the soaked bacon strips and add them into the flour mixture.
- Fry the bacon in a skillet on medium-low heat for 2-3 minutes so that it gets crispy.
Finished!
Because the bacon can get extremely oily, I like to pat them down on a paper towel a little bit to get any extra greasiness off, but I know that some people like it just the way it is!
