This Goat Cheese & Pancetta Inspired Bow Tie Pasta Is Truly Unique & Tastes Amazing!

This recipe makes enough for three to four servings but if you want plenty leftovers to enjoy the next day, feel free to double or even triple the ingredients.

You just have to wait for the pasta to cook and then toss together the delicious sauce and peas and you will be enjoying this amazingly simple but delicious dish in no time!

If you simply do not like peas, you can leave those out and it will still taste great.

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 8 oz. bowtie pasta
  • 10 oz. bag frozen peas
  • olive oil
  • 3 oz. pancetta
  • 1 TBSP butter
  • 1 TBSP flour
  • coarse salt
  • pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 5.3 oz. container goat cheese

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Boil pasta. Add salt to the water for cooking. 
  2. Place frozen peas in a colander, run under warm water, tossing to thaw.
  3. Heat a little olive oil add the pancetta and cook over medium heat until browned and crispy.
  4. Remove to a plate. Pour most of the oil and fat from the pan.
  5. Melt the butter over medium-low heat.
  6. Add flour with a pinch of coarse salt and pepper. Whisk until lightly browned and bubbly.
  7. Gradually whisk in the milk.
  8. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until boiling. Boil and stir one minute. Remove from heat and whisk in the goat cheese until melted and smooth.
  9. Strain pasta and place in the pan where the pancetta cooked.
  10. Toss with the peas and goat cheese sauce until all is warmed through.
