This Is One Of Those Crock Pot Dishes You Can Turn To When You Don’t Want To Spend Hours Cooking!

Here's everything you need for these rich, succulent sour cream pork chops. Careful when you transfer them from the slow cooker to the oven, because they should be so tender they'll fall right apart!

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 2 cubes chicken bouillon
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

Directions To Follow:

  1. Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and then dredge in 1/2 cup flour. In a skillet over medium heat, lightly brown chops in a small amount of oil.
  2. Place chops in slow cooker, and top with onion slices. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water and pour over chops.

Next, place the cover on the slow cooker and cook on low for between 7 and 8 hours. Then, preheat the oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, and once the pork chops are done, move them from the slow cooker to the oven so they stay warm. After this, combine the sour cream and 2 tbsps. of flour in a small bowl and add this to the juice from the meat. Set the slow cooker to high and continue cooking for between 15 and 30 minutes or until the sauce has thickened slightly, and then pour the sauce over the pork chops before serving.

Wow! That sounds like one hearty meal. We bet these chops would taste great with a fresh dinner salad or a couple of veggie side dishes. It can get a little messy, though, so we recommend lining your slow cooker for easier cleanup. Have you ever had sour cream pork chops? We'd love to hear your thoughts below!
