This Peach Cobbler Crust Is AMAZING! I’m Going To Start Using This For All My Cobblers!

This Crumble Cobbler Tastes So Good! I Can’t Wait To Try It A La Mode…

Everyone has different preferences when it comes to cobbler. Some people like the crust nice and firm and others like a softer chew. Either way how you bake this recipe it is sure to come out exactly how you want it to be.

That Combination Of Brown Sugar, Peaches & Vanilla Really Hits The Spot – Just Think About How Good This Will Taste With A Nice, Big Scoop Of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream On Top!

All you need to do is adjust the temperature or the cooking time. The real star of the show though is the peaches. These cinnamon sugar peaches with a special ingredient splashed in really lift this cobbler to a whole new level.

The crumble that goes on top is my favorite part because the peaches really set in the flavor. You are going to love how decadent this sinful little dessert tastes. This has to be one of my most favorite recipes to make during the Summer.

Don’t use can peaches. Always use fresh or frozen peaches. It takes almost nothing to make a great pie/cobbler. If peaches are sweet use about 1/2 cup white sugar,1/2 cup brown sugar. Just sprinkle cinnamon over peaches already in pie container. Use about 2/3 cup butter/margarine. Sliced thin and place on top of peaches. I use premade pie crust. You can place one crust on bottom and up on sides of Pyrex/ Corning dish. Or I slice strips and place around sides. Then place pie crust on top of peaches. Slice holes in crust so steam can escape. You can lattice the crust on top. Sprinkle some white and brown sugar on top of crust and use remaining margarine/butter sliced thin on top. Place in about 375 oven for 15-20 min, until it begins to brown. Then turn to 325/250 oven and cook about 30-45 more minutes. You want the juice to cook down. If crust starts getting too brown, place some tinfoil on top. Could cook at 325.

This recipe doesn’t make sense, the directions are incomplete, at least on my iPhone they were. It mentions cinnamon peaches, but no mention of cinnamon on the recipe itself. It doesn’t tell you how to put the crust together. Rather sloppily done.

You are right, cobblers don’t have bottoms,so this is “Peach Pie” not a “Peach Cobbler “Everyone do things different,I was only saying I put dumplings in my cobbler.Never stating I put a bottom crust on it.

What do you do with the butter?. Is it cut in to the topping since you called for cold butter or sliced and put on top of the crust?

Add 1/8 tsp almond flavoring to your peaches and some nutmeg to your crust–it gives a wonderful flavor.

When I was a kid, many, many years ago, my mom and grandma always made cobblers with bottom and top crust. They were “wonderful”. They were thick soft crusts. Wish I could remember how they made them.
