This Ritz Cracker Chicken Has A Surprising Crunch & A Ton Of Flavor

You can serve a plate of roasted vegetables or maybe some sweet Hawaiian Bread along with this meal to make it complete. Don't worry about brand specific crackers; anything will work.

Let's Get Started…

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt
  • Garlic pepper
  • 10 ounce can cream of chicken soup
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Spray a baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Whisk together the egg and ¼ cup milk.
  4. Place the crushed crumbs in a shallow dish and the cheddar cheese in another.
  5. Dip the breasts into the egg and milk mixture.
  6. Cover the breasts with shredded cheese using your fingers to press the cheese onto the chicken.
  7. Place breasts into crumbs and cover entirely.
  8. Position chicken onto baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until breasts are fully cooked and the centers no longer pink.
  9. While chicken bakes, in a small saucepan, melt the butter and add the chicken soup, sour cream and milk.
  10. Whisk together until well-combined and warmed through. Serve sauce over the chicken.

Finished!

I made this tonight and it turned out really delicious. I made it with thighs instead of breasts.
