This Set It & Forget It Slow Cooked Brisket Is Absolutely Incredible & Hardly Requires Any Prep.

The sauce for the meat is customizable to your liking. If you would like to substitute the soy sauce with something else there's many ingredients both dry and liquid to make it sweet or spicy. For instance there's honey, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, Susie Q seasoning, etc. Just pick your favorite seasonings for your taste buds.

Ingredients To Gather

  • 3 to 4 lbs of a brisket cut of beef

  • 3/4 cup barbecue sauce

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1 cup of water

Step By Step Directions To Follow

1 Preheat oven to 300ºF.

2 In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, soy sauce, and water.

3 Place the brisket covered in barbecue sauce in an oven-roasting bag. Sprinkle a teaspoon of flour into the bag. Poke a couple small holes in the bag. Place the bag in a roasting pan.

4 Remove from oven and let rest for 30 minutes. Cut it in half along the grain of the meat. Then make 1/4-inch to 1/2-inch thick cuts across the grain to serve.

~*~ Cooking Tip ~*~

Bake for three hours. When you make a Brisket, you will want to bake an hour for every pound of meat that you are making. Since I only used three pounds I baked for three hours.

Finished!

Mix, coat, cook and done! We told you this recipe was super easy. This beef brisket will have a tender and juicy texture and you can even add more sauce after it is cooked. Serve with a side of corn or beans or bread and you've got yourself the perfect dinner.

Enjoy!
