This Slow Cooker Balsamic Chicken Almost Cooks Itself!

You might be surprised to see a soft drink listed in a chicken recipe, but we can assure you this is one secret to why this dish is so yummy. The other ingredients you probably already have, making this dish even easier.

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 4 lb. chicken thighs (skin)
  • 2 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. sprite (coke)
  • 4 T. crushed garlic (fresh)
  • 2/3 c. red wine vinegar
  • 2/3 c. balsamic vinegar
  • black pepper
  • 4 T. light soy sauce

Cooking Directions:

Simply place everything inside the crock pot and cook on low for between 4 and 5 hours. Remove the chicken, and then add couscous or rice to a bowl, cover with the chicken and some of the juice from the crock pot and then sprinkle feta cheese on top.
