This Spaghetti  & Meatball Recipe Has A Few Unique Ingredients That Make It Truly Flavorful!

This recipe makes enough for about eight servings but if you want more to enjoy again the next night, you can double the ingredients. You can use whatever combination of meat you want for this recipe.The key to the sauce is the wine that just gives it the perfect amount of flavor but if you don't want to use it, it will still taste just as good.

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 3/4 pounds Ground Beef
  • 3/4 pounds Ground Pork
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 3/4 cups  Bread Crumbs
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 3/4 cups  Parmesan
  • 1/4 cup Parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Splash Of Milk
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil
  • 1  Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 whole Can Whole Tomatoes
  • 1 whole Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup White Or Red Wine (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • Black Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Parsley
  • 8  Basil Leaves,(optional)
  • 2 pounds Spaghetti

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Combine meat, garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, eggs, salt, pepper, parsley, milk in bowl.
  2. Mix well with hands. Roll into balls, place on a cookie sheet. Place cookie sheet into  freezer for 5 to 10 minutes to firm up. Heat olive oil  over medium-high heat. Add meatballs 8 at a time, turning to brown. Remove, drain on a paper towel after each batch.
  3. Add  onions, garlic, cook for a few minutes, or until translucent. Pour in whole tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, and wine, if using. Add salt, pepper, sugar, parsley.  Combine, cook over medium heat 20 minutes.
  4. Add meatballs to pot,  stir in gently. Reduce heat to a simmer, cook for 30 minutes, stirring  during the simmer.
  5. Stir in basil if using.
